Couple of funny quirks 3 Months, 1 Week ago
Hi,

Great extension - really pleased I've found it (and you've written it!), but there are a couple of odd quirks that I would like some help with please.

1: when creating menu items that link to articles, when I look in Menu Item Manager the 'Type' are things like 'Polls -> Article' and 'Newsfeeds -> Article', rather than 'Articles -> Article'.

2: When I add articles, they initially come up as 'Published but pending'. Please see screenshot below:

On the top article (look at screenshot) I moved the created and published date back a day and now it's fine.

On the bottom article, I just clicked on 'Created Date' and 'Start Publishing' then chose todays date and saved the article and now it's fine too!

What am I doing wrong? Using J1.5.5 on a local development using WAMP.

Thanks for any help you can offer,

Dave.

Just to add to this, if I edit the article parameters and simply delete the time stamp (but leave the date in) and save the article, it's fine (saves as published).

I've checked the time stamp against the computers current date and it is correct, there's not some weird error there I don't think.

Thanks again,

Dave.

I'm having this same problem.

Joomla 1.5.6
Mass Content 1.1

It kind of defeats the whole component, as you have to go into each article and change the date somehow to get it to publish.

Is there a solution for this?

Thanks!

I thought it was just me being stupid, but perhaps not. I've stopped using Mass Content now, which is a real shame

It seems that if you remove the time stamp while in Mass Content adding articles, they publish correctly. It's a work around, but much better than removing the stamp from every article.

hope that helps someone.

Cheers,
tom

I have received a couple of emails regarding this. I will correct it.
