Use WYSIWYG editor 7 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Hello! Firstly, thanks for this great joomla component.

I have a problem because i want to use the WYSIWYG for all the pages but i can only write one with that editor (the other ones without it).

How can i use masscontent to enter all the pages using the WYSIWYG editor?

Thanks!

Hello

Unfortunately it is not possible to have one Wysiwyg for each pages. It is not a technical problem but I haven't developed it. Imagine loading 20 editors (10 for intro page and 10 for full page) The page will fat too heavy to load.
But if required I can add a parameter where the user select either 1 editor to load or 1 for each page.
I guess this answer your question

Thanks! It would be a nice parameter to enter in a future update.

This is what i was wondering...

I can understand that it will take a huge time and memory space for loading the editors but then I cant even add simple text pages as it does a word wrap after saving them.

Hence i have to use the editor to save all the articles.

This is a great feature and helps especially in new sites wherein we have to add too much of content.

is there an update on this request?

i think when developing the patch, there will be no need to have the "more" section available, which reduces the load up time. if someone wants to add 10 articles at a time, they want the ability to quickly add pages and is less than likely to have a separate intro + more content section.

if you could please provide some input on how to make it so the editors are added to all 10 fields and hide the "more" field, that would be AWESOME!

Hi,

This functionality will be implemented in the next release.
I will start the development again very soon, so stay tuned
